SOLARIS ON KUNST — KAIDO HAAGEN „MANDALA”

02.08.2019 — 31.08.2019

Mandala (Sanskrit: circle) is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions, representing the universe. In common use, mandala has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically. The basic form of most mandalas is a square with four gates containing a circle with a center point. Mandalas often exhibit radial balance. Photographs represent Estonian windmills.

Kaido Haagen has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. The three cornerstones upon which his photographic activity is based are architecture, traveling and the underwater world, as well as everything connected to these themes. As a patriot of his homeland, his collection includes a variety of photos about architecture and life in Estonia. Even so, he is always ready to travel and discover new horizons.
