Exhibition tour with Pavlo Mazai and Tetiana Doroshenko at “Essays”

As part of the Ukrainian Art Festival and “Ma ei saa aru” festival, we welcome you to join a special exhibition tour through “Essays” — a powerful and poetic photography series by Ukrainian artist Pavlo Mazai.

Accompanied by the artist himself and curator Tetiana Doroshenko, the tour will offer personal insights into the themes of life, death, beauty, movement, and memory that shape Mazai’s deeply existential work.

This is a unique opportunity to hear firsthand about the creative process behind “Essays”, the philosophy that inspires the author and curator, and the personal and cultural experiences woven into each image.

Before our tour, you can join a free guided visit at Fotografiska Tallinn as part of the Ukrainian Art Festival with Taras Bychko and Tania Ruda starting at 4 pm.

Following our event, as part of the “Ma ei saa aru” festival, a guided tour of the Estonian illustration exhibition “Sandwiches with Summer and Wind” will take place at 5 pm, led by curators Bianka Soe and Lilian Hiob (in English). Venue: Green Hall. Entry with exhibition ticket (5€/3€)
