Curator’s tour at the Jean-Louis Courtinat exhibition’s “It’s About All of Us”

How can we photograph human vulnerability while preserving people’s dignity? How can photography tell stories that society often chooses to overlook? And why do these stories concern us all?

We invite you to a curator-led tour of Jean-Louis Courtinat’s exhibition “It’s About All of Us”, guided by curators Kristel Aimee Laur and Toomas Järvet.

We will explore photography as a way to see, understand, and care. We’ll share the stories behind the photographs, offer insights into Courtinat’s distinctive approach to the people he photographs, and reveal how the exhibition came to life. We’ll also reflect on documentary photographers’ responsibilities and how images can change the way we see and relate to others.

Admission: Regular exhibition ticket €8 | Reduced ticket €6. Tickets are available from the Documentary Centre’s e-shop or Fienta. Free admission for Dokfoto Centre Club members. The Estonian Museum Card (Muuseumikaart) is also accepted at the centre upon arrival, if space is available.
