OPEN STAGE — Cabaret of Somewhat Unusual Comedy (in English)

Eriprojekt, Special Project, Talks — events — courses
05.12.2025 / 20.00

The new platform of the Documentary Photo Centre – the Open Stage – is starting! The Open Stage, as the name suggests, is open to anyone who wants to share their creations with the audience in the premises of our centre.

The first act on the Open Stage will be “Aime the Storyteller and Her Characters” on December 5th at 8:00 PM. Tickets for 10 EUR are available at Fienta ticket sales.

If you are looking for something fun to do on winter nights in Tallinn, come and meet Aime the Storyteller and her CHARACTERS. This one-woman show blends comedy, theatre, and storytelling in the format of a somewhat unusual cabaret.

Aime is the host, and her colourful characters step into the limelight to entertain you. To name a few: No-Nonsense Girl Next Door, Well-Behaved Space Alien, Shakespearean Actor George, many others. These “know-alls” have opinions about many everyday topics – and they won’t spare the Storyteller either.

The characters are based on Aime’s poetry, but don’t expect a traditional recital. Get ready for a theatrical rollercoaster; come and find out who the characters are and what they talk about!

AIME THE STORYTELLER is an Estonian performance artist, writer, and visual artist. She leads a parallel life as a creative artist and a linguist. Over the years, she has performed in Estonia & abroad (solo/group shows, events, and festivals), published poetry and prose, and showcased artwork. “Cabaret” is Aime’s latest solo show, created and performed by the author. Characters mostly from the poetry book “Coffee mornings with angels”.
