An opportunity for participants (up to 16) to have their personal photography portfolio reviewed. Participants will receive feedback and suggestions how to improve their skills and refine their photographic vision in order to develop as a photographer and be able to tell comprehensive stories.
Participants are asked to bring their portfolio that reflects their area of interest. While prints are preferred, digital images can also be reviewed.
There will be two groups, 8 participants in each: 8 participants in Sanni Seppo’s group and 8 participants in Annika Haas’group.

SANNI SEPPO is a renowned Finnish photographer and artist. She uses photography as a tool to put forward socially relevant topics. While having strong images, Sanni also recognizes the crucial role of texts. On Sanni’s pictures we see people from different countries and diverse cultural backgrounds making a difference in societies they live, both with their lifestyle and their action, having an impact on values and bringing about change in the vision of happiness. With her encounters with other people and cultural traditions, Seppo looks at the interaction between humans and nature. Sanni Seppo is one of the founders and artistic director of Helsinki Festival of Political Photography.
ANNIKA HAAS is a well-known Estonian photographer. Her work focuses on marginalized groups in the Estonian society along with local closed communities, examining their internal structures and operating patterns.
